i just admitted in an email
that if i could find some
pre-existing
organized religion
that fully embraced
the (female) body, and
openly celebrated
whom/what/all
the body can
desire--as a natural--even
holy, essential
part of life, i would be
a zealot, brother.
i would even preach.

in the meantime, i am
content to design my own
spiritual practice. one
that worships smell. and taste.
and touch. and sight
and sound. and you.
one that heeds
this vehicle called flesh
i often ride to love...
